CCNA Data Center

Overview

Training and Certification

Introducing Cisco Data Center Networking (200-150 DCICN)

The course covers foundation knowledge, skills, and technologies including network protocols and host-to-host communication, data center networking concepts and technologies, data center storage networking, and Cisco UCS architecture.

Introducing Cisco Data Center Technologies (200-155 DCICT)

The course covers foundation knowledge, skills, and technologies including data center network virtualization, unified computing, data center automation and orchestration, and Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (Cisco ACI).

 

CCNP Data Center

Overview

Training and Certification

Implementing Cisco Data Center Unified Computing (300-175 DCUCI)

The focus of this course is on deploying, securing, operating, and maintaining the Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) and UCS C-Series Rack Servers for use in data centers.

Implementing Cisco Data Center Infrastructure (300-165 DCII)

The focus of this course is implementation of LAN, SAN, and Data Center Unified Fabric. The course provides hands-on experience implementing Cisco data center infrastructure.

Implementing Cisco Data Center Virtualization and Automation (300-170 DCVAI)

This course focuses on the implementation and deployment automation of Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) and Cisco Nexus switches. It provides rich, hands-on experience building a data center solution.

Designing Cisco Data Center Infrastructure (300-160 DCID)

The focus of this course is data center design based on Cisco solutions. The course includes theoretical content, as well as design-oriented case studies.

Troubleshooting Cisco Data Center Infrastructure (300-180 DCIT)

The focus of this course is troubleshooting of LAN, SAN, Cisco Data Center Unified Fabric, Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS), and Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI).

 

CCIE Data Center

Overview

Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Data Center (CCIE Data Center) certifies the expert-level skills required to plan, prepare, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot complex data center networks. Professionals who achieve CCIE Data Center certification have demonstrated their technical skills at the highest level.

Prerequisites

There are no formal prerequisites for CCIE certification. Other professional certifications or training courses are not required. Instead, candidates must first pass a written qualification exam and then the corresponding hands-on lab exam. You are expected to have an in-depth understanding of the topics in the exam blueprints and strongly encouraged to have three to five years of job experience before attempting certification.

Step One: CCIE Data Center Written Exam (350-080)

You must pass the two-hour, written qualification exam covering concepts and equipment commands related to packet-based networking infrastructure, before you are eligible to schedule the lab exam.

Step Two: CCIE Data Center Lab Exam

The eight-hour lab exam tests your ability to configure actual equipment and get a service provider network running in a timed test situation. You must make an initial attempt of the CCIE lab exam within 18-months of passing the CCIE written exam.

CCIE Data Center Written Exam version 1.0

Exam Description

The Cisco CCIE® Data Center Written Exam (350-080) version 1.0 is a 2-hour test with 90−110 questions that will validate that a data center engineer has expert knowledge about planning, designing, implementing, operating, and troubleshooting Cisco data center technologies. The exam is closed book and no outside reference materials are allowed.

CCIE Data Center Lab Exam version 1.0
